Honolulu

Aloha Tower

The 1926 harbour tower that was the tallest building in Hawaii for forty years, with a free observation deck.

Aloha Tower

Why go

Ten floors up over the working harbour for nothing, and it is the building everyone arriving by ship saw first.

The catch

The marketplace around the base has emptied out and refilled more than once, so do not go for the shops. The lift to the deck is sometimes out.
